Missing Golden Retriever - “Colt”

Please help Jim find his Golden Retriever. His story here:

“My 9 year old, male golden-colored Golden Retriever is missing. He was last seen early this evening (4/28/26) at Greystone Lake. He is friendly but shy, so he will need to be approached slowly and gently. I just adopted him earlier today. His name is Colt, but the tags on his collar say “Buddy” (my previous dog) since I haven’t even had time to get him his own collar and tags yet.

We were taking an on-leash walk and he was staying very close to me the whole time, actually touching me most of the time. When we got back to the car, I opened the door for him and unhitched his leash. Then he suddenly turned and bolted and ignored, “Come, Colt!” I last saw him heading towards Kelmscot Way.

One of my dogs died this past December and another on March 30. So this is a devastating loss. I will be eternally grateful for your help finding him.”
